I should have bought a ZL1

For me, it was NPP and A8. South Florida traffic is no fun with a manual transmission, but relatively pothole free so no need for mag ride. I also had to have the H50 package.

I also had to have the AT, but more because of Cylinder Deactivation than issues with traffic. And also had to have the H50, though it was a close call with HBM + white rally stripes.

And since this my retirement car, I decided it had to be a convertible.

For the OP, I would still suggest a 2SS with MRC + NPP as must haves, everything else is gravy and/or personal choice.

I came from a G35 Coupe M6 also. NPP exhaust, the 2SS package if you can afford it. Blind spot monitoring was a must as I can't back out of a parking place & see cross traffic with the huge blind spots in the rear/sides. I also wanted navigation as my wife is "directionally challenged". I personally like the sunroof as it allows a lot of light into a normally dark interior (some don't like this. I'm 5'10", so have no issue with headroom). I didn't find the magnetic shocks option to be an absolute necessary item as the standard suspension was good to me. yes, I drove both. I also like this M6 transmission.

NPP is fun and less expensive than an aftermarket exhaust. I don't have mag ride and don't miss it. Several automotive journalists said they preferred the base suspension.

The sunroof is controversial because it reduces headroom by 1" in a car where headroom is already low. For tall people with long torsos or those who wear a helmet in competition driving events, it's a no go. For the rest of us it's fun.

Black wheels help hide brake dust.

The really big questions are M6 vs A8 and 1SS vs 2SS.

2SS option, NPP exhaust, MRC, possibly black wheels(depends on what you like) and an M6 6 speed trans. Sunroof? For me I was looking for the hardtop with no sunroof. Personal taste for a sunroof! I like summit white, Hyperblue and grey. That artic blue is growing on me though and yellow is different also.

And of course the 1LE package if a 1SS is to your liking.

I'm saying SS because I'll be going big or going home.
The better question is what not option. The automatic...if you want the most from your driving experience.

I optioned every RPO and LPO option other than sunroof and 6 piston brakes. They all add enjoyment but I'm particularly fond of the blade spoiler.

Signature list most of them

Seems like it's an unanimous decision on the NPP exhaust and MRC. Personally I was leaning towards that as well plus the 2SS.

This car would mostly be a daily for getting to work so the creature comforts is nice and being able to select the exhaust mode in the early mornings. Now it'll be a question of finding a decently priced one up here in Canada.

Question What would you consider a "must have" option?

When choosing a new/used sixth gen Camaro, what would you consider a must have option?
Would Magnetic Ride Control be near the top?

Recaro seats?

Dual mode exhaust?

What are your thoughts?
