I decided to take another look at running the clean side PVC line underneath. I think I have it where I want it now.

P.S. Perhaps it can be done with some additional manipulation, but my MAF sensor wiring is too short to allow it to be tightened up against that tab. So, I probably won't mess with it.
Looks a lot better. If you wanted to hide the line even more, you could likely route similar to how I did mine, and then maybe modify the plastic line coming off of the oil breather by cutting off the portion at the bottom where it angles out, so that it is just a straight line down, and then route the line under the catch can lines and gently curve it up to connect to the plastic tube now coming straight down.

Either way it looks good.

Okay, Ron71, I think I have it where I like it now. Ran the line the way you suggested. The only challenge, the line wanted to naturally straighten where I curled it up to meet the separater tube. This caused it to pull the 1LE separater tube left, so I had to attach a clip to hold it where it looked good. I put the clip right on the separater, and it keeps everything tight. I think everything looks clean now.

Looking at the intake tube, can it be unbolted and repositioned so the maf is in the same place as the stock air box? Or is there enough slack on the wiring connecting to the maf?

I didn't even think about that, but yes on the seconded there is enough slack. But I wonder if its a flow issue to get a clean read of the air or if they rotated it for clearance of something else.

Huge shoutout to mr. chad! I got a little impatient with the blow dryer and kinked the 800-059 a tiny bit.

I am very happy with the results. Looks so much better this way.

Looks good. Looks very similar to the install I did on mine. I used one of the actual Z/28 PCV lines and cut it to length to work with the 1LE PCV line after it was cut to length. Then I used a Dorman generic PCV elbow to join them together. The Z/28 PCV line came with the foam cover over it so I re-used that to make it look a little nicer and cover the elbow joints more. I posted more info with part number earlier in this thread incase you wanted more details on what I did.

Add another L99 to the Z/28 intake list. Very high quality piece. Maureen rocks! The car feels like it's quicker to accelerate.

I just went with the k&n blackhawk which is the same filter with a different box. I wonder now that k&n is on the z28 factory and all the teams racing the z's are leaving them on...will the k&n bashing continue? I noticed a huge jump in throttle response with this filter.
