It's a nippy 44° here this morning. I'm cold. Not used to wearing long pants and a coat for days in a row.

Think Positive! Those cool temps sure make easier to tell who is "Braless". Now, Who Don't Love Those NIPPY Mornings!

So far, no success on that front.

I've followed this thread on and off for about 2 years so please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rick and I live in Jacksonville, FL. My hobbies are cars, waterskiing, NASCAR & college football - Go Gators! My job requires a lot of travel so no guarantee on how much I can contribute. From everything I've read everyone seems to be really down to earth.

I have a 2014 ZL1 and currently resto-modding a 1986 IROC-Z28. I'll post some pics later and look forward to contributing to this thread.

New chest X-ray on daddy shows some "nodules". They want to do a CT scan. He would probably need s stiff dose of Valium since you just can't tell a person in end stages of Alzheimer's to lie still. It is a tough call. Ambulance ride, meds, results that may give us a better idea of his status/prognosis, but not that he is in a place that we would start any treatment. But maybe we know where we are in his living will & what directives to give to the nursing home. At this stage, oral antibiotics become less effective. We will let him continue this 10 day regimen and see if it would help but IV antibiotics which may be more effective, are really not an option as he will pull it out. Last time when he was in the hospital even with us staying with him he managed to pull it out a few times. We will likely not approve any hospital treatment. It would not help him feel better at this point. Maybe he will pull out if it again. Time will tell.

Welcome Trickskier! Love 3rd gens too!

All the best for your dad Jan.

Two days down, three to go. Finally warmed up here into the 70's. My wife said a small animal of some sort was floating in the pool. By now, it may have sunk to the bottom. Guess they are going to leave if for me to remove.

Welcome --- FLA Rick "trickskier" !! Would love to see your third gen pictures.

Jan --- hope things go better for your dad. When my mom was in the hospital last the nurses put her in a recliner at the nurses station. That way she could watch and hear what was going on. When l came to visit her and she was not in her room I went to the station and they asked if I needed help. I point at mom and said that one is mine. Sometimes you just have to laugh, but sometimes it is hard.

AZ Rick --- The enclave is a sister to my wife's traverse. I like the car a lot. Hope you found the crabs and not the craps !!

John

Thanks for the welcome! When I originally bought my IROC my plan was to have it painted and change the interior from tan cloth to black leather. After driving it for about a month I realized the 305 TPI 190 HP just wasn't enough for me. So I started researching and decided to go with a LS376 - 480 HP / 4L70E Cruise & Connect package direct from Chevrolet. I removed the drive train in May and finally installed it's new heartbeat two weeks ago. I still have about 2 month before it will be running because I have to purchase the accessory drive package, rebuild the fuel pump, and put the new wiring harnesses in. I'm only working on it on the weekends. It's taking longer to complete than I originally anticipated but it's going to be worth the wait!

I'll post some pics when my computer boots up as my I-Pad will only allow me to post one pic at a time.

It may be easier just to call me Trick since there's already a Rick here. Trick is what most members on the MasterCraft Boat forum call me.

Welcome aboard Trick. Great pics!

Good morning. Apparently it is going to take my immune system a while to adjust to being in the schools all the time. Seems like I keep some kind of a cold all the time but so far have avoided all the stomach viruses & such, ( knock on wood). I still can't adjust to these early mornings. Have a good Hump day crew.
