Metco with the extension, it is very close to the stock NPP exhaust.

Joe G,
I have after market exhaust. Do you think this would still work. That is the loop I have been looking at

It barely fits with stock exhaust, I know others run it with aftermarket but on mine is is very close about 1/8th inch of clearance.

I talked to Shane today at golf coast about my driveshaft vibration issue and he had some really good info on something to try before I pull mine out and send it to them.
He said he was talking to someone at ls fest that was telling him they were having a ton of issues with gen5 Camaros and driveline vibrations after switching to a one piece driveshaft with a manual transmission. They guy told him most of them were fixed by using a rev shift transmission insert. They are only $30. I ordered one and it will be here probably this week. I just don’t know if I’ll get it installed and a chance to drive it now till spring. We already had one snowfall and they put a ton of salt down on the main roads.
Super nice guy to talk to!

Please post back I have the insert sitting on the self. I haven't installed because I heard a lot of people complain about the NVH with them.

Wonder does this eliminate vibration by affecting the pinion angle or just help absorb the vibration? Intriguing why this has never been mentioned before and couldn’t find a single reference about it on the forum? May have to call it BS. Hope not it could be just an unknown charm.

IIRC, the insert just fills the voids in the soft factory mount and it did allow more transfer of noise from the bronze shifter cup in my TR6060.

I’m definitely willing to try it. Look at how many people you see out there with driveshaft vibrations after switching to a one piece no matter the manufacturer. Shane at gulf coast just said to try it and said either way he was willing to take mine back and try it out on there new balancer. My insert will be here today so I’m going to do my best to get it in and try it out before the weekend is over.

CF VS Aluminum Driveshafts, Pros and Cons.

I’m going to replace the mount itself also. A new one is $37 and the rubber is starting to crack and separate from the metal part. So I guess I’m going to have to wait till tomorrow now.

Do you have to remove the mount to press in the insert?

I’m guessing you do but I don’t think it took 15 minutes to get it out
