I am leaning towards the 2 MF after the existing since the jones looks more labor intensive since my wideband sensors are close to the X. The mufflers came from Amazon.

if i do the 2 mufflers i would think it will look like Post #226. Just i am using mufflers instead of resonators.
Did the Jones MF2469 ship from Amazon or through a 3rd party? Can you see which 3rd party you got it from? There are several vendors selling them on Amazon.

i looked at the Amazon Invoice and says sold by Amazon. I do believe they are listed on Jones site as a dealer.

An update for all of you, we ran the jones mid muffler (the double Y variant, not the X) on a standard Stage 2 package (ported blower, 2.3 pulley, 103 tb) + headers, the mid muffler was probably a 0.5% to 1.5% restriction compared to a full off-road setup, an X, or straight through resonators on a 750 crank HP setup. The double Y variant also provides the most noise suppression. If you value sound over horsepower, a majority of you should be fine with either the magnaflow double y, or the jones double y if you end up getting the jones variant unintentionally.

For max HP guys with no sound restrictions: Off-road setup, or straight through mid resonators

For max HP guys that want to tone their sound down with no power loss: Jones MF2469 (true x variant) mid muffler or straight through mid resonators

For the rest of the guys that dont mind giving up ~1% of their horsepower and want to significantly quiet down their off-road setup, the double Y magnaflow or jones will work fine up until 900 hp or so.

That sounds very reasonable and glad to see a dyno comparison. It seems the physics of exhaust pipes really confuse people. Most exhaust is not nearly as restrictive as people seem to think it is, even at elevated power levels. Again I come back to my statement that exhaust restrictions are most important closer to the exhaust ports than the tail pipes. Exhaust manifolds/headers are most important, then the catalytic converters, then everything else and gets less important the further back you go.

just an update on the 2 Magnaflows added today. Little quieter, but not as much as i had hoped. The car is still pretty loud. I may need to go back into the NPP tune and see what i can do. Does sound deep in both Sport and Track modes. Only thing i dont like on my exhaust is the ticking sound i hear...i am told its the Stainless Headers

Thanks for commenting! They do look good in there, even if not as quiet as the larger single muffler, at least when I added that to my 5th Gen it made a drastic difference.

Funny you posted this, I just had some more dyno time today and think I’ve hit the point where the Magnaflow is an issue. I was able to hit 955 WHP but it was less than expected, and my tuner noticed a slight uptick in boost level over 6000 RPM. I’ve got dig into the data logs tomorrow when I can, but I think the Magnaflow is at the end of a surprisingly good run for a cheap muffler. The Jones MF2469 might have to be the next move. Thanks for sharing!

I did some minor tweaks with the CCM when I got home from getting the 2 Magnaflows installed and it helped quite a bit calm it down below 3k rpm.

If you can find one with the proper X design. I bought one from Amazon and it was another dual Y design.

Yeah, that’s the catch. And even if find one, my shop will probably strangle me if I ask them to cut out the Magnaflow and weld in the Jones. I’m sure they’re sick of messing with my exhaust at this point.

So far I have ordered 4 of these Jones 2469 mufflers all from different vendors. 3 of the 4 are dual Y design, I'm waiting on the 4th one to be delivered today.
