Symptoms were like a sputter upon acceleration, and kind of a jumping around at idle. Almost hunting for a sweet spot. Has all cleared up since switching to a "strong" one.

The reason I asked is because it usually takes more than just an intake to get the weak sensors acting up. Pretty interesting stuff.

I always wondered why my car would almost die pulling up to a stop sign, particularly when it was warming up. I've also never been super excited with the snappiness of the throttle. Well, low and behold I have a single digit MAF sensor. Just bought one from APEX (thanks for all the detailed info) and it should be here in a week.

Get the Z28 intake. Comes with a new strong MAF. Done deal. Never even had to check if my old one was strong or weak. I do notice a smoother idle, I'm willing to bet my old one was weak.

When this issue first presented itself back in 2010, GM engineers were involved in figuring it out. It makes sense and is interesting that they chose to include a "strong" MAF with their intakes.

And it makes no sense that they would keep using "weak" ones in their new cars.
