Although Mustang fans have their "Stang" and Challenger fans have their "Chally", the Camaro isn't a "Maro" or a "Cammy".

Those are terms of familiarity.

The Camaro isn't your buddy. It isn't your friend. It's like having a pet tiger or a pet shark. It may live with you and you may enjoy having it around but it demands your respect 100% of the time.

Never forget that.

Stang and chally should be banned also.

How about "Twenty Ten"

Do you say $2010 is Twenty Hundred and Ten Dollars?
Or would you say $2099 is Twenty Hundred and Ninty nine dollars?

To me Twenty Ten sounds like a dumb way to say "Thirty"
The year is Two Thousand Ten.

While I don't like "twenty ten", I don't think anyone is going to stop using it. Much like the Maro, and Cammy terms.

No way. I've heard them called Maro since 69 and have no problem at all with it. Relax a little guy and get your undies out of the knot.

Not to take this thread off on a tangent, but I disagree. I prefer Twenty Ten. I was born in 1970(Nineteen Seventy), not One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventy. Why should the 2000's be any different?
