hey all! OK so the whole diff is junk now. It broke a tooth off the ring gear and that tooth went around the whole diff, splitting the cover, splaying the case, but the bearings are perfectly fine as well as the rest of the parts. (ODD!) and legit there was no rear end noise driving it. lol.

Not sure how there was no noise or issues while driving other than that rattling sound coming from the front of the transmission. I'll post pics.

quick question is the zl1 2017 diff from a manual (half shafts, drive shaft) doable with the 2011 SS (I have to mod a few things) fit?

other option is a 2015 zl1 (same things as above)
