Interesting observation and I'm not sure what would have caused it but the interior pic shows a tear in the passenger seat backrest starting at one of the sewn seams. Might be a note of caution for future owners of cars with the Recaro's to be careful of or watch out for. But it could have been caused by a passenger getting into the car with a sharp object in their back pocket or something too. Hard to say if it was a user fault or if the seam is just letting go from normal wear and tear.

May be the angle? No idea where you see this ? The red line? I see the red inserts that are supposed to be there in those creases ??Name: image.jpg

I figured he would be watching and take care of it for use. Now I know what my car will look like dirty since it will be a daily driver. I just hope I got picked up today.

Hmm.. Maybe you are correct and the angle is deceiving me. I guess when I was looking at the picture it looked to me like the seam was wider in that area and the fact that I really cannot seat the red piping along the rest of that seam was making me think the stitching was letting loose.

Yeah pretty sure it's just the red piping although it's not very even like in the pic I posted. Maybe wear and stretch use squishes the material together and covers the red piping ? Hope not

I bought the Pirelli Sottozeros for my SS based on the same recommendation. They work well.

That car is in Michigan... it would never look like that down here.
