One observation though. I searched for my 13 1LE high and low. While searching, I looked at several 2SS RS cars. The rims on the 13 SSs I looked at were different(the newer 14 15 style). Maybe someone can chime in to confirm the wheels on your car were still available in 13. Just want to make sure someone didn't pull a fast one and swapped your rims before you bought the car.
As far as I know, the 10-12 SS had the bold prototype style rims.

While the 13-15 had the same 5 star design, but slimmer.\

To the OP, very nice car, congrats.

How many miles or on her when you picked it up, and is it a manual or auto?

We were in the same position as you last year! I got my license this past fall on my 16th birthday but that was when 2016's were just started to arrive at dealerships. At the time we noticed a slight price drop nationally but not enough to pull the trigger. By this time next year prices should be even better!

Thanks Splat. She's an auto and we picked her up in Connecticut with 11,998 miles clocked. After the drive back and a extra day of just driving around she's sitting at about ~13,400 miles. Although, from the interior you wouldn't be able to tell because it is nearly flawless!

So, you're a new driver at 16 years of age. Well, may I offer a word of caution if you are going to be driving. There's more power than you realize under that hood. It WILL get away from you if you're not careful. And keep the friends out of the car when you're driving. Everyone will want to see "what it can do." "What it can do" is kill you if you're not careful. If you want to play around, save that for your girlfriend. The skills you need to drive smart come over time. All my best to you and your Camaro.

At his age, the best advice is to save it for himself, because playing around with a girlfriend WILL get away from him too.

My 13 had the same 20" 5 spoke wheels when I bought it new. They were actually listed as a $500 option on the window sticker so they were not the standard ss wheels on the 13's.
