Lol I know.. I spin entire second gear with only 420 whp lol. But normal driving I don't have an issue, its just throttle control

When I beef up the rest of the driveline I'll be getting a good set or tires lol.

I'm starting to look for information and ideas on what would be the best clutch for me to replace the OEM one when the time comes.

Things I need to consider:

My wife and I both drive this car so we both need to be happy with it.

We drive in light to moderate stop/go traffic but mainly highway commutes.

We BOTH love to drive the snot out of the car! LOL

I think I'd like a light weight flywheel but not sure if that will make the daily driving an issue.

Double clutch? Is there any point to this for a daily driver?

I've tracked the car only twice and will probably only see the track a couple more times in the next couple years.

Longevity?

How hard is it to do the clutch/flywheel job yourself? I've got Quick Jack lifts which let me lift the car up about two feet and it's all clear underneath.

Thanks for all the info.
Check out the LT1-S rated to 700WTQ 700WHP, but it drives like stock. A twin disc gives you more area to work with so they can hold more power. The LT1-S will have a longer life than any after market single disc, since its based on the C7 clutch which has a self adjusting pressure plate. Also which ever way you go I highly recommend upgrading the release bearing support and get rid of that plastic piece.

And for around 974 basic to just under 1500 bucks with all the bells and whistles, it looks like it would be a great choice for stock to moderately modified ZL1 cars.

Absolutely!

And we offer a one year warranty along with the ability to upgrade the clutch at a later time.

So after my upgrade (650-700 rhp), if I decide to build the engine and raise the boost to 700+ I can upgrade to the 1000hp clutch at a discounted price then? Or would you recommend just going with the higher rated clutch to begin with?

Car isn't a daily, but I do drive it on the street on the weekends.

It will really depend on how long you plan on turning it up.

That said, you can easily run the SC and have no issues driving it!

Lol, my addiction is limited to my finances... that being said turning it up probably won't be for a few years. Never know though.

I might just get the SC clutch when the time comes so I won't have to deal with it. Thanks for the information
