Lift on a cam doesn't affect drivability...

I think what he was getting at is the duration that would accompany that much lift... I'm sure you knew that though

Duration and LSA... you can get smaller duration cams with that lift. Just keeping the info in this thread honest. .

When you are attempting to sell a clutch based on information you're posting it should be correct. Telling the OP that the clutch he's referencing drives great with a .650" lift cam is pointless. Give him the duration and LSA so he can determine the overlap and how truly aggressive the camshaft is, at that point he can derive that you do have an overly aggressive camshaft and the clutch in question will drive great with said clutch...

It has everything to do with clutch selection, therefore it has everything to do with the OP's question.

All this said. I've got the LT1-S standard weight in my '14 SS with a cam that has over 13 degrees of overlap and it drives just like stock, literally. No noise, no chatter, super smooth, and is holding 500 rwhp like a champ.

Is the LTI-S the level 1 twin with a standard weight flywheel? (28LB)

Thanks for the vote

Yep, same one that picked up power in my other post.

We do have a lighter variation for you that still drives good, just not as good.

Your reference still isn't as relevant as you want it to be without knowing the overlap of your camshaft... but I'm sure everyone can just guess at your reference if that's okay with you.
