I back in no matter what vehicle i'm driving. I've seen too many fender benders with everyone backing out at the same time in parking lots.

Somebody explain to me this backing in thing? What purpose does it serve? Or is it just a 'I think I'm cool' thing?
Sorry, just a confused old man.

I always back in the car whenever possible. Easier to drive out, especially in crowded situaitons. Also with a backup camera, it ensures you get the perfect fit and don't hit the front of the car.. especially if you have a lip spoiler.

I bet most accidents from leaving a parking spot is caused when they have to back up out of the spot.

I know the visibility of the camaro makes it hard to see the dimensions of the car, so when parking, what is the best way to do it? Backing in using the backup camera as an aid? (this would also prevent the worry of scraping front end on a parking curb) Is it as hard as it seems? All info would be greatly appreciated! I will put a poll up too, asking if you guys pull in forward or backwards.
Holy crap. If you can't park a car....

You've never seen a driveway were it's obviously more advantageous to back the car in?

many companies with vehicle fleets require they back there vehicles into parking spaces. it is safer to back in, over backing out.

Its not that I can't park a car. I can park a CAR. But I have never parked one with such a long nose! I don't want to scrape the side of the car beside me with my front end! I am sure I will get used to it, BUT I am just taking precautions.
