If ya can,t buy it , make it. Or buy it & make it.Looks good, got my approval.
Always good to post something that others can repeat. A polyester primer surfacer such as evercoat g-2 is good to use before paint over a mod like this to minimize any flaws & glue lines from showing up in the future.Polyester shrinks less than urethane primer. For a small area like this one , it could just be rolled on with a mini house paint roller .G-2 requires a 2.2 gun tip to spray & goes on with a little texture anyways.

Looks great man, way to go. Wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you pointed it out.

Well, I dropped off the spoiler at the body shop today to have it primered and repainted IBM. It's going to cost me $120.00 but it will look awesome and will be done right.

I was going to paint it myself in flat black instead but I decided Nah! I should have it back by Wednesday of next week. The painter can't get to it until Monday. I will post pics when I get it back and installed.

First off. Looks great so far. The SLP ZL spoiler is my favorite spoiler.

Do you happen to have pics with the spoiler installed in its original form?

Thanks. I am surprised myself as to how well it turned out. I have not done bodywork in years but I guess the skills remained.

Yeah, I really like how Midnighter did that. I was wondering about making adjustments to the SLP spoiler like that for a long time. Can't wait to see the results!

Here is the finished spoiler all bullnosed edges and evening out, less the primer & paint which is happening tomorrow or the next day at the body shop.
