Thanks. I'll come by all the time just like i do with the Versa forum and my bike forum. I would like to drive a Z06 one day. Maybe in 5 or so years i'll move up to a vette.

Hope it doesn't hit you as hard as it hit me. It's nice to know you have the xtra horses on tap if you want or need them. Not that the V6 is a slouch, no sir it's a great car. So far i love the sound of the V8 under acceleration and the rush of the speed that comes quickly. It's a blast to run thru the gears. I love the sound of the engine idling at a red light. One thing i wished i had gotten on my V6 was the 6 speed manual. Automatics are ok but manuals are more fun

Man, did I just have a relapse? Why in the world did I just come back from my dealer, and look at the only silver 2012 1SS M6 in that lot...why?

Tempting:

That sexy 1SS sitting alone for just $31,900.

Pros: the power and features--426hp, improved suspension, the mail slot

Cons: Payments will go up $110, and gas will cost me an extra $7 per fill up. The 1SS is manual, and I havent driven manuals in like 7 yrs, so I prefer auto. For the right price though, I'll def be willing to go M6.

OMG, am I coming to my senses, or thank to Warrior06 the bug is nibbling at me

Would I like a V8? Sure.

But I'm not paying the premium to own one.

My V6 is here to stay.

Driving with a manual is like riding a bicycle. Once you know how to do it you never forget. It takes a little getting used to the clutch etc.

When i test drove my SS with the salesman in the car i was very careful because i never drove a 5th gen. with a 6 speed and i wasn't sure how all of that power would transmit to the pavement. It only took a few take off's then i started getting used to the feel of the clutch. I can tell you it drives sweet and it is very predictable. No surprises. The car is so much fun to drive.

To me the xtra money a month is well worth owning the SS. I haven't regretted getting it. It's a car you keep for many many years.

So all of my exterior mods will fit the SS. Boy! i spent most of yesterday up to 2 a.m. and most of today to about 2 pm bringing my 1LT back to stock form. I can tell you i'm beat. The only thing i couldn't take off was the window tint.

If anyone is interested i'll be selling my MRT V2 exhaust with only about 1 month of use (if that). Will probably be selling my C.A.I. intake (excellent condition) with less than 6 weeks. Probably won't work but hope it works on the SS. Also my 1LT was an automatic so i'll be selling my 4 guage pack with less than 3 months of use in excellent conditon.
PM me prices, I maybe intrested

Sorry to break it to you, but the SS doesn't have this feature; it's only on the ZL-1.
