Are you still running the stock axles in the rear?

Yes. I figured they would have broken before the driveshaft due to me breaking one of the axles at stock hp. But I was waiting to see what failed and then fixing what it needs as it's needed.

Talk to frank, he will likely cut you a killer deal package deal on the shaft and axels.
And with the safety loop.... A loop that works with the DSS shaft is still in development as the typical one won't... so I've been told. |

If you need a place to put the driveshaft in, I can help. I have a lift in Bowling Green and can trailer the car for you. All I'd ask for is gas money.

Heard good things about DSS. Sounds like they're the choice you'll want to go with.

Here is what I did for mine... I added four inches of material after cutting it on the line where it was bent to shape... I then added the gussets on the side and it worked perfectly...

Jannetty Racing is finishing my build up as I type. +1 on the loop-it's a SAFTEY necessity! My invoice indicates :
Product ID: MDL-3100(google Metco drive shaft loop) was installed with a DSS 3.5" Alum DS. I don't know if there was any fabricating or tweaking needed. Call and ask for Kris-I'm sure he would be more than helpful with details. Also, from tranny back everything drivetrain related is DSS. Nothing but good things to say about their product and the most important IMO Excellent Customer Service! Goodluck!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Camaro RS/SS10, it is stories like these that make me feel good about going about the mods the way I did. Before I up my HP I have chosen to do the drive train first, I went with DSS 1400hp axles (no vibration issues with 1000miles so far) and a DSS 1 pc aluminum driveshaft. I am very satisfied with the equipment from Frank at DSS, even though it is over kill for 420 rwhp, now I can up the HP without fear of breaking the driveshaft or axles. Don't hesitate to use DSS equipment they are a top notch company.
