Everyone's always so worried about competitions and sh_t when it comes to bass. Maybe he just wants to add a little depth to his tunes.

you can find them around 750.
its powered by 200 watt mtx amp all plug n play comes also with wiring harness and mounting bracket it can be a little pricy but warenty, sound, factory look and ease of plug n play well worth it i think

Personally, i think that is a waste, in looks and money, In my opinion for that kind of money you could do one good quality 10 or 12 in a custom box with an amp capable of running it properly installed for under 1000. And as far as voiding a factory radio warranty ive NEVER heard of that occuring and ive been installing for 13 years, and owned my own place for 5 of those. I have done a handful of setups in these cars, my favorite is a rear drivers side box we build with a 10 inch sub capable of 750 RMS, 800 watt amp and it looks good and has enough bass to make everyone but the basshead happy. but if your a basshead your gonna go with a ported box and tons of power anyhow LOL

I'm not worried about it at all, to each his own. But IMO the price paid for those MTX subs you could have better BASS for your BUCK...

It is a clean install and keeping everything under warranty with factory cleanness comes at a price. Plug and play is nice too if you want to remove everything.

From an acoustic stand point I have been told where the OP mounted his sub is the only place to have it mounted or up underneath the shelf. On the sides you don't get the same bass as you would where this sub is mounted or underneath(best)the bottom shelf. I haven't a clue but that is what a so called expert told me (who has won many awards)to mount any sub's. Anybody else heard the same?

Fair enough... Depends on what you're looking to gain from your dollar.

Hehe, pun

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Ok my dealer matched the price from gmpartsdirect added tax was just under 1,000.00 Dollars. Dealer ordered it got it in 3 days.

They installed it today and it was the first time this dealer ever installed the kit in a camaro, so it took the mechanic 2 hours. they only charged me 1 hour to install and I was able to get the vehicle factory warranty coverage.

This kit I highly recommend it It does not take up to much room in the trunk but you do loose the rear seat pass through. it looks very nice and there is the bass gain knob located behind the seat and is very easy to access.

The sound is awesome and it was well worth it. I would recommend it to everybody.

The drawback
1) Extreme headache if volume turned up high
2) Lots of people staring.
3) scared my back window will break.
Clean install and looks good!

I really think for $1000.00 I could of got better then MTX but I'm happy with them. If anyone is interested I'm thinking about selling them just to Focals in a custom set up in the trunk. Make me a offer on them.

$200!

We had the dealer install one in my wifes car before we picked it up. Sounds good, its out of the way and did'nt have to leave it at a shop for install and its bolted in so it would take awhile to steal it. I know we could have gotten more for the money but the wifes happy and we did'nt have to deal with picking out a system and hoping the car did'nt get messed up during the install.

For that price, I'd look at the JL Audio stealth boxes.
