We just drove my wife's 2010 SS from Ft Worth Texas to Savannah and back and three of the four travel days were driving through some huge thunderstorm downpours. No trace of a leak anywhere, and it does have a sunroof.

We drove a total of 2,300 miles and the car ran just fantastic, not any problems at all. Now to get it cleaned up will take some time but it was worth it.

Take it to a drive threw car wash and see if you can see where it leaks.

when I first bought my camaro I worried that the design of the upper door would lead to water coming in, but no matter how hard it rains it never gets in.

I realize now that you cannot leave the sunroof popped open when it rains hard. The sunroof by default is up maybe 3 inches at the back. This is wide open, and if the rain is anything but delicate you'll have a wet interior.

Otherwise, no problems.

I never had issues with leaking to the floorboard out here in Seattle.

I did, sometimes, get a large amount of water that would drip onto the sill from the roof as I sat in the car, and tilted the roof to start draining into the open door area (or down the outside of the window if I closed the door quickly enough.

I have had a problem with water leaking into the trunk. The problem was with the drain line from the sunrooof. It had become disconnect inside of the trunk area. You may have a similar issue, just somewhere else inside the car. If the headliner is not wet then check in the rear seat area for moisture.

I have sunroof and drove mine in pouring rain all day. Bone dry. Hope you find the culprit.

Sunroof drain tube is clogged. Have dealer look at this first since it happened only after a down pour. This is very likely the problem. I am betting it is.

2nd is the A/C drain tube located atop the tranny could be kinked.

No issues and it rains very heavily here during the summer. Plus, I've taken it through the car wash twice.
