I have the opener clipped to my drivers visor in my Colorado ZR2, but my homelink works flawlessly in my 50th 2SS. Wish the ZR2 had it. Its a 2019, may be the reason. I don't know.

We see too far.

I have a Lift Master remote. It's a standard remote from Lift Master.

It was the biggest gripe about my 2020. I took the clip off my opener and used a vice to flatten it more, then i put shrink tube on it to add friction and some minor protection.

I will take a picture later

Could you maybe retrofit a pre-2020 homelink clicker into a 2022 car?

If I remember correctly, the wiring required to power it may have been removed for 2019+ (or at least the connectors may have changed) but not sure.

Peaking peoples' curiosity is the sole reason for the sig. Closed minded folks that think they "know" everything, will run and take their masks with them.

We see too far.

Love the Gen5 solution. Had no idea that was available. But for the $300, I guess I will just cheap out and use the OE clicker that came with the GDO.

Go look at a regular Craftsman remote. This is what I did. I put an gauge block that was 1mm less than the thickness of the visor and mashed it down with a SMOOTH vise. Added the shrink tube for friction and it worked great for the year I owned the car.
