Uncle stated in another thread somewhere that the upper plenum from LS9 will fit LSA straight across.

However, I'm hoping if does come with the 2300. It'd be nice to have the headroom. There's no doubt, in my mind, the 1900 will be good for my goals, but I'd rather not have to lean on it so hard.

Do I think GM will use the 2300? No. After releasing the LS9 kit, though, it makes me wonder... However, with no warranty, and as much a tuner kit as that package is, I still think the 1900 will make it into Z28.

PLEASE, GM - GET THE 2300 IN Z28

Total brain fart on that one for my part.

I think GM will get a lot of criticism and disappointment if they start off the Z28 line with 1900 with less room to grow than 2300. To get more juice out of 1900, you have to spin it more which produces more heat. Look at Whipple 2.9, a lot less heat than 2300 for the same air volume. 1900 is good for up to 9psi without real heat issue, but your growth is gone. Is that what GM is thinking, blocking the consumers of pushing Z28? I don't know, but it certainly marks a negative point in consumers view.

GM shouldn't worry about loosing ZR1 or Z06 or CTS-V to Z28. Each one has it's own customers. I hope GM would come out with a pleasant surprise than a disappointing one.

I'll bet on the 1900 .. since that is what is on the LSA and the LSA is what this car is getting as far as any of us know ..

That is wrong. The 2013 GT500 uses the TVS supercharger.

Closed, on account of the fact that this is an out-dated topic discussing the car we now know as the ZL1
