Thanks everyone for the compliments. The dealership was happy to remove their sticker and exchange the license plate frame for the one off my old ZL1.

I got a little more seat time today -- about 75 miles. I'm starting to get a better feel for the strengths and the weakness of the 6 gen ZL1. One caveat of any review I do about the new car is the fact that I've never driven a 5 gen coupe -- only convertibles. It's hard to determine if the vastly improved handling I'm seeing is a result of the alpha platform or the roof.

Size wise, do you feel more "compacted" in the new one or is it as spacious as the Gen 5's?

Definitely feels more compact.

Access to the center console compartment is the first negative I've found with the new car. The compartment is located at the rear of the center console. I'm 5'8" so when I have the seat in the driving position, It's difficult for me to reach anything in the compartment. I have to move the seat all the way back to get anything in or out of the compartment.
