Once you get used to a HUD, it's tough to go without...I find myself looking for it when I'm in other vehicles.

Ditto.

Going big would mean 2SS. That gets you the HUD. Then, as soooo many others have said, Magnetic Ride Control and Dual Note Exhaust. Those are the MUST HAVES.

After that you can think about Rally Stripes and Hash Marks and Black Bowties and Sunroof.

The NPP exhaust option also gives you a gloss black painted rear diffuser (the area around the exhaust tips), without the option it will come unpainted in dark grey plastic finish. Another reason to choose NPP besides the exhaust tone.

just my 2 cents on the rally Stripes my buddy had them on his 13 Camaro and they were cracking pretty bad you might want to spend a thousand instead of 500 and get some Stripes painted on from a local shop that's what I did for my 2002 z28 and it looked fantastic

2SS so you get the blind spot monitoring, bigger infotainment screen, accent lights, leather etc..Definately worth the extra $$$. Then id go for MRC, then NPP. You can always turn your car into a 2SS 1LE down the road with the 1LE suspension package and bigger brembos. My favorite option is a free one, the Rev match that comes with the manual transmission "option" is sweet.

I agree with getting the NPP I was trying to find one without it at first then I went ahead and got it and for the most part I am glad I did. However when the valve opens fully at wot, it is kind of annoyingly unrefiended, cracky and Poppy sounding even in tour mode. I'm surprised they let it be as loud as it is from the factory like that.

Although it is largely supplanted by smartphone navigation, especially now that they can be projected on MyLink display, and also OnStar if you subscribe, consider getting factory installed navigation. The cost is 4 or 5 hundred dollars. The main advantage is that it will give you a display on the dash, or in heads up display, of the speed limit where you are driving. It's a great assistance in not inadvertently speeding, which is all too easy in these cars. It'll pay for itself if it prevents a speeding ticket or two.

NPP, 2SS, white or silver, and adrenaline red interior were my must haves. Everything else was secondary.

Call Becky at Rodgers Chevy in Detroit area. Lots of us have bought our Camaros from her though out of state...I'm in Cali. She knows the cars cold & just wants to get you the car you want; no sales pitch. (If she did, I would not have bought from her)

Number is 1 734 676 9600.

I bought a 2SS with all the options except sunroof. Really happy with it.
