Visibility, well, since it's established that the design will be evolutionary according to spy shots, I'm assuming the blind spots will be the same. Does this mean that GM will get around this with tech features like blind spot assist, lane keep assist and parallel parking assist?
Those tech features (if they offer them), would no doubt be part of an option package like on the current Malibu.
Available, yes. Standard, no.

Honestly, I feel that the 6th generation Camaro can be part E46 BMW M3 and part Camaro which I think would be a super solid mix.

This may be a pipe dream, but just picture a V-6 Camaro with 6 speed manual transmission if it weighed around 3,450 pounds packing 335BHP. The E46 M3 coupe weighed 3,415 pounds and packed 333BHP so 3,450 pound Camaro with 335BHP might be something else.

Chances are "Visibility" will remain the same. Also - count on having a low roofline, still.

But - I wonder how many drivers just need to adjusting the mirrors properly?

I have 0...ZERO...blind spots while driving my car. And I've been driving this thing every day for the past 3 years. I can see the guy the lane next to me coming up from behind in my rear-view, then as he pulls closer he's in both my rear view and side view mirrors, then as he comes along side me, I can see him in both my side view mirror and peripheral vision. Then, finally, I speed up so he doesn't pass completely. (just kidding)

But in all seriousness...no blind spots. The side view mirrors should not show the sides of the car. I promise, the car will come with you as you drive it - no need to keep an eye on it with the mirrors. You should just barely be able to see sheet metal by physically moving your head. And proper driving technique before a lane change is to turn your head for visual confirmation, anyways.

...Now I'm derailing the thread.

The only real visibility complaint should be the C-pillars when backing from a parking spot with cars on both sides of you. I ignore the rear camera. I can see behind me just fine, just not to the side. I don't mind the trade off one bit for the styling though.

It bothers me as to the number of people who don't know how to properly adjust their side mirrors --

I learned this blind spot mirror adjust technique at the drivers meeting before track day at Gingerman. It does work and I have since adjusted my grocery getter and work truck mirrors this way!

If you can see the side of your car in the side mirrors you have a blind spot.

I sometimes feel like I'm the only crazy fool who does it right. Then people like ssmike chime in and confirm I'm not crazy.

Posted this a couple of years ago on another forum. Some good diagrams in the links...

Blind spots don't exist with the mirrors adjusted properly.

Bingo! Here's another version of the same explanation, but with diagrams...
