I used floss, it didn't work great so i then moved to using a plastic trim tool for interior pieces. That seemed to work the best. It's a foam-ish adhesive under the bow tie that will come off the vinyl using your fingers and patience. No damage to the vinyl underneath, but you'll need to clean it up a bit to remove all the residue if you're going badge-less.
