Math is off it should be 37 + 7 whixh is the balance of the LS3 price so you are at $44k with SS2 trim, and what about a Z28 with 1SS trim level? You can add 1LE price and ZL1 breaks too.

Everybody would be complaining about how the sixth gen has the same V-8 as the fifth.
I've come to believe that how GM develops these engines, and decides where and how to use them, is an extremely long-winded process...And for them to be viable they are used for their entire "life-span"....True, there are several V-8's out there, but that doesn't translate into simply dropping them into various models at varioius times...

The LT1...a GenV motor will rule the day in the 'Vettes for the foreseeable future and will likely have a variant in the Gen6 Camaros...Until then, I wouldn't expect much else in the meantime...

37K is a bare bones 1LE/1SS.

Yeah but I would still be alive (technically lol) in those 7 years. I would still be in existence.

The Camaro was not, it was dead, gone, did not exist.

Well you cannot bring the dead back to life after 7 years either, I prefer to say it was lost, but found its way back to us...

Here's what I get: LS7(13K) + Base 1LE(37K) - Remove LS3(6K) = 44K

Either my math is off or GM's is!! Look at the 8K price difference between a 2LT/RS and a 2SS/RS..same car different engine/tranny combo!! GM doesn't care, they don't credit you for the combo, you get charged for the upgraded combo!!

If that were the case I might bite, but it won't be!! They know it will sell just because of the badge!!

Also true, we can go back and forth all day but why bother its my opinion vs yours lol. All we are going to do is clutter up the thread. I will leave it at in my definition of anniversary, there should be no 45th or 50th models.

But riddle me this then going back to my "bad" wedding analogy. If you got married in 1967, wife divorces you and leaves you 2003, and then you dont see her again until 2010 then get remarried. What anniversary would you celebrate in 2012?

I will agree to disagree on whatever else comes up on this topic, I just want to see someones answer lol
