GearheadSS, or anyone else who may know, could you help me understand status code 3400, (order broadcasted for production). Would you think that at this point, this status would likely get produced during the last two weeks for 2021’s in July? What’s everyone’s guess; are they going to produce 2021’s first two weeks in July, or are they going to announce 2022’s will start once they restart Lansing plant? I’m guessing no more 2021’s

My dealer just confirmed that the TPW of my order will be July 5, and it sitll will be a 2021 model...

However, there is no gurantee. The production may be idle again as what we have today.... who knows..

All of our 2021 remaining Camaros are scheduled to be built in mid July. What's interesting is that I have 2 2021 CT5s scheduled to be built in August. 8/2 and 8/16. Looks like Lansing could be running 2021s into August.

Any chance you know how many 2021 orders are out there, just curious, at this point my car comes when it comes and if it doesn’t I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

I think it’s crazy that they even have production dates when cars like mine that have been built since 15 Feb are still sitting in lots waiting for chips. So not to be a downer but remember even when built can still take months. I’m hoping to see mine before end of summer LOL

How do I know my dealer submitted an order? They don't have an allocation yet.

Dealers get an allocation then they can order right?

Allocations for 2021 are done. The only reason they're running production into August is because they're trying to get caught up on the backlog of orders already in system.

If your dealer didn't get an allocation, you're not going to get a 2021.

When are the next round of allocations? If that's even the term to use...

I can understand why GM has not publicized internally how many cars they expect to build in the two weeks in July, but do you have a guess as to if cars at 3400 status, since they are broadcasted for production internally, stand a good chance of being built in those two weeks in July? Thanks.

last week I watched LethalGarage video and he mentioned GM has 2,000 camaros sitting waiting to finish production and enough parts to build 300 more 2021 @ 1:09.

i saw that as soon as he posted it. i mean you can usually see the parking lot right, so if they're there then it's true.
