Did my break-in (~1500 mile) engine and rear diff oil changes. Tried getting to the plug for the skip shift eliminator install but my hands are too fat. Decided to call if a day before I broke something…I’ll give it a go another day.

It was fun getting the car up on four jack stands for the first time.

I drilled 4 holes in the back of the car. I thought it was metal but turns out it's just plastic.

I do really like the cover. Its very soft and completely covers everything. Its a GM item. "Premium Indoor Car Cover in Black with Embossed Camaro Logos" Part # 23457478.

Speaking of car covers. I was not going to put my cover on during storage but the other day it was so nice here for two days I took it out for a ride. But I did notice that the pipe for the fire sprinkler system was dripping water droplets with rust on car. So I ended up putting the cover on.

I hope you are having a conversation with the owner of your storage unit. If you are using the car cover to keep the water off the car, then I assume it is not a breathable cover? If so, that could lead to other issues down the road if the cover traps the moisture under it and keeps the moisture in and on your car. Personally what I would do if it were me... (until the storage unit company fixes the leak)... I would get a small piece of plastic gutter and divert the water over to the wall and let it drip over and down the wall.

Ya RPM is up there for sure. Not sure if they lock ECM's or not, but I know Katech and Livernois does.

This. I’m a mechanical contractor and can tell you that you definitely don’t want that rusty nasty water on your car or hanging around in the storage unit. If it’s condensation, throw some cheap Home Depot foam insulation on the piping. But if it’s a leak then the storage unit owner needs to fix it.

It’s more or less condensation, but good idea in regards to the cheap foam pipe insulation. Thanks to all.

BTW, thanks for pointing out the coolant level. The lower tank was about half an inch below the halfway line and the top tank needed to be topped off.

Suck that I needed to pull the strut tower brace to get to the bottom chamber service port.

No problem. The top tank shouldn't need to be topped off, it should naturally pull from the reservoir tank on the bottom. Not a big deal if you were just half an inch below the line, always good to keep an eye on it though.
