Because all you would need is DR's to get a stock 2013 GT500 into the 10's me thinks, or damn close to it.

Looks are incredibly important for a sports car. In my 4 years in brazil I have never seen a late model mustang. Not one. You can even go to the ford dealership and they don't have them. But guess what? You can walk into the local chevy dealer and buy a 2012 camaro SS from the showroom floor.
Why? Because guys here think they look badass. They don't even understand the power they pack. Very few cars here have high horsepower. A Brazilian in my condo complex has one and I was talking to him about it. He basically knew it had power but didn't understand some basics. I showed him how to spin the wheels going from 1st to 2nd and then 2nd to 3rd. He was like, "What did you do?!" He had no idea what he had really bought. |

Btw, if youre going to round the gt500's trap speed, it would make more sense to round up. It ran 126mph |

R and T times were from a writer driving a heat soaked car. Do we really need to pull out the times from bad drivers on the strip? Quote:
Ford has run the car at numerous tracks with numerous drivers under a variety of conditions. Some have gone slower some faster but the number that keeps popping up is 11.5 at 125. Why is this hard to believe? In reality 11.5 vs 12.0 would be apples to apples. A few will go faster most slower. However the good drivers will be able to pull those numbers or faster from each oem they drive in good conditions! 12.0 is coincidentally the number that the 12 gt500 is running. Im still curious as to why gm did not create a greater difference in the zl1? |

Why would they do that? It won't get as much traffic there. And how can people find it easily when for some reason they didn't put the little arrow graphic with "MOVED" and a link to get to it. It's almost as if someone just wants the thread to slowly die off because it's gotten too big and would be impossible to delete without people noticing.....oh wait......oops.....forget I said anything.
