Reviving an older thread, but had a couple questions

1) if blackfire crystal might be too shiny, would hydro2/hydrofoam also possibly be too shiny as well?

2) if so, would that rule out the option of using hydro2 or hydrofoam on the rest of the car since some would likely splash onto the hood due to the nature of their application processes?

I have used Chemical guys matte detailer, Adams detail spray, and Ultima waterless wash. All work great but if I had to pick one it would be Chemical Guys.
