Stainless Power headers installed!
After a fair amount of research, I pulled the trigger on SP headers. It took some doing (most likely because of my amateur level of wrenching) but with help from a friend, the two of us did the job!
Biggest setback was using basic tools. I would have killed for an air ratchet! We did the job in about 4 hours in my garage on jack stands. The headers sound great! Now I just need to get it tuned. Special thanks to DynoSteve for the great price! |

They don't look coated. They look just like mine when I got them in.

If they were coated you wouldnt see the burn marks from the welds near the bottom.

No, I've never had any of my headers coated. Nice thing about SW and SP is they use good quality materials. No color change like lower grade SS. Never really worried about the heat. If I was to go FI it would be a different story.
