Skip shift eliminator for < $1

This resistor method is what I used on my '00 Z28. Does this still work on the '16 SS to disable the skip shift feature?

This will probably work the same. Not sure. I do like where they tell you on the cheap how to do this. Although, I would buy the professional product for good connection seals. Like the business practice though.
