Does the 2016 Camaro have resonators?

Does the 6th Gen Camaro have resonators before or after the muffler?

I don't think it has them after, if so they hide them very very good. But I am fairly sure there is a pair before the muffler setup.

Resonators are after the cats.

I plan to remove those as they are what hold npp back from being a monster to me.

Looks like removing the center section and putting some real x or h pipes would help.

That's what I'm seeing in the pictures too. None of those look like resonators. I'm excited to see what putting some longtubes and an x-pipe hooked up to NPP will sound like. I'm gonna put on cats on mine since I don't want to worry about cops but at least on my last car(2002 z28) the difference between metal-core cats and no cats wasn't really very much at all. I fist had ceramic cats and those really quiet things down!

I am with you, NPP does add quite a bit of sound but for me it isn't enough. Only reason why it isn't enough is because I cannot hear it with windows down cruising on the highway. I am not touching my headers, Tri oem headers are most likely heavy as hell BUT they are legit, so I will grab an xpipe to get rid of those 2 unmonitor cats on the Xpipe and I will be happy. Same thing my buddy did with his c7 z51. He has NPP and got a borla xpipe and now the LT1 sounds godly!

Damn, I bet that will sound awesome! Do you have any pics in the engine bay of the stock headers? I'm curious what they actually look like on the car, like whether they are identical to the pics we've seen on the chevy website of the engine.

I do not have any pictures of the engine bay but is pretty damn packed, will have to take the cover and move the intake and all to be able to get a picture of the right side and hopefully be able to see the headers. I think it also has a heat shield as well, i am not 100% sure though.
