I really do think they've been faking the roof.

i can't believe you included my crappy half-assed tracing in the post. Lol. I'm pretty sure I got a lot of details wrong lol. One thing I think is that the new car will have a slightly higher roofline for better visibility. Actually, the roof and window lines are still hard as shit to make out based on the heavy camo on test mules, so who knows.

Have the "nostrils" been discussed yet? From the press-release photo, it looks like there might be something going on there. I would think, with that much mouth-breathing going on, there would need to be a larger air outlet on the hood like we see on the 2014-15 SS hoods.

Appealing to Firebird Enthusiast
Not sure if people see what's happening, but they're attempting to appeal to fans of both the Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird.
Check out the curves of the hood and the pointed front end. I don't think the camo cars have the true front on them: |

If you've read the whole thread, you'd know the render's snout isn't that pointy, it appears that way because the far side of the hood is dark due to nothing reflecting on it.

I don't see what looks so bad about it.. A lighter, sleeker, and more powerful Camaro with a new platform without aggressively changing the success of 5th Gen bodystyle.. Sounds like a home run to me!!! Not sure what folks are looking for here

Yeah, I thought Pontiac myself for a while, but it's just that connection in the middle of the grille that looks different and like thePontiac front end...but it could just be covering a bow-tie and not connected...other than that, it pretty much looks like the existing Camaro....who knows...Peace! |

The current C5 Camaro kind or reminds me of the 67-68 Firebird in a way. I was looking at some Firebird pictures online a few days ago. |

That beak to make the Camaro look like a Pontiac is hideous.
