Frontal airbags will not deploy if its a rollover, side impact, or rear impact. Why that is I have no idea.

I am 100% happy your daughter is ok.... Thank god for you and her. But this is the reason there is a Camaro in my driveway and not the Challenger I wanted.....
Good god man.

Also, you may want to have the mods move your thread to the correct section. Once again, glad your daughter is okay. I would be sick if this ever happen to mine.

If the car is totaled from a front collision I would certainly be contacting Dodge.

Glad to hear ur daughter is ok.
the computer is supposed to do a diagnostic of the airbag system every time the car is started. if anything is wrong the airbag light is supposed to come on.

Thanks everyone for all of the well wishes!!!.. The other two cars in the accident their air bags deployed.. From looking at the impact, I'm shocked the air bags didn't deploy!!!... Not being biased but I never felt like she was safe in that Challenger... Even when my wife and I drive it, we don't like it.. Pics coming up

Airbags can cause injury on their own due to the violent inflation. It might have been by design, particularly if your daughter weighs round 120lbs or less, which I think is the dividing line.

Talked to the adjuster and he stated that if the air bags didn't deploy then usually it's not totalled... Hmmmm.. But he hasn't seen the car yet...stay tuned

That sux but Glad she is ok. That's interesting that the bags didn't deploy. That should be highly investigated. This isn't the first time I hear this.

Those cars look pretty safe IMO.. Challenger looks like a huge boat, I hope shes OK.

I was driving side by side with one and it almost looked like the size of a minivan.

lots of opinions, let Dodge pull up the info off of the crash sensor and discuss deployment criteria with the driver.
