I can fit like 3 bodies in the HUGE trunk, I mean, not that I've tried.......

All kidding aside, I agree with a comment here that it matters HOW it could get smaller/bigger. Overall I think the car could stand to go 7/8 size and be perfect.

Not bigger but could go on a diet of 400-500lbs, Im not sure where they would lose that much weight but damn these LS3's would be smokin if the Camaro's were 400-500lbs lighter....They would take a 5.0 thats for sure.

Then I'm afraid you're in for a bit of a disappointment...

An LT1 C-7 weighs about 3400 lb. An LT1 Camaro, selling from mid-$20s as a V6 or T-4, will NOT weigh that little...

You sure? That seems WAY HIGH for a vette but to be honest, never really read up on it.

My 82' Z28 weighed 3400 lbs.. and you can feel the difference, but totally different cars.
If there was a way to shave 500 pounds off the 5th gen, it would make it almost a second faster in the quarter!

No no no no, if I wanted a slower overweight v6 I would've purchased a Challenger! Don't you know less fat has more power.

If that includes the hot girl in the passenger seat I will take that over the 3300 any day.

i want a smaller camaro, it looks way too big next to a first gen... i'd love to see it go back to classics but i know it won't happen.

Correct.... I didn't realized the article I quoted was for a Z51. Oops.

The size makes it a special made car! because you can get a two door coupe with a sedan size!A win, win.... Not your typical two door! I LOVE IT! Big mean high on the road!

Barely. Curb weight as per Chevrolet.com is 3298 lbs

But still, the C7 is a fairly small 2 seater with an aluminum frame and composite bodywork. It isn't going to be a mere 100 lbs less than a 6th Gen SS.

Thinking of it from the other direction, an ATS with the V6 comes in at 3461. Its pretty wishful thinking to expect the 6th Gen (SS) as being within 100 lbs of that

The Camaro is only big on the outside. On the inside its classed as a compact car with roughly the same amount of space as my Grand Am

I'm thinking the SS will be somewhere in the 3700-3800 range.
