You can't say the 1LE is better because it beats the Track Pack 5.0 on road course. If so, isn't the 5.0 better because it beats it in Straight Line? I'd say they are very comparable cars and each have the pros and cons. One necessarily isn't better than the other. They are different cars.

The 1LE is an SS. It's an option package, not a model, and as I said before the 1LE is dead even with a track pack 5.0 in a straight line. Go Internet race on a muffstain forum.

Mad? I've been on here longer than you man (Not to play that card) and actually contribute as an enthusiast.

Fastest times ever are 12.2 for a 5.0 and 12.5 for an SS. How is that dead even?

Dead even means there is no gaining for either side in a straight line. So, if they are dead even in a straight line, that means that with equal drivers on a road course, they will be nearly dead even. Not to the extent of what you said earlier that a 1LE DESTROYS a 5.0 like it is minutes faster.

I race in real life, at a track, not on the street. How about you? Any 1/4 mile times for your SS? Have you driven a 5.0 and 1LE and raced against both? I've driven an SS LS3, a 5.0 and I can say the 5.0 is faster. Not to the extent you described the 1LE being on a road course, but, I'd say I could probably pull a good car or two with an equal driver in a 5.0 down the 1/4.

Yeah that excuse wont work when the next mustang arrives. Hope there is signifcant weight loss in the 2016 camaro cause I'll be interested then

I agree with you on the course vs the 1/4 track. I'm not sure why GM is thinking your average Joe will go the the course over a track. I love my Camaro but hate the fact they were focusing more on the course track than the 1/4 track..
I might be wrong on this but this is what it seems to me..

And we race in the real world chief...all the 1LE's I've seen at the strip were struggling to run low 13's. Stop drinking one Mag's time.
