The front end will def be more aerodynamic. So the headlights on that TF4 should be close to what will be available. Im not digging the wide open mouth on the lower facia either. IMO the top portion should be larger more centrical for lack of a beter word. Im sure it'll be a nice product evolutionized, but I dont think it'll look as good as a 5ht gen imo. Defintely faster and lighter. Im sure if thats what you want, then you'll love it. But if youre going to get one, I wouldnt necessarily say a 6th gen is "better" than a 5th gen...

I have no doubt that the overall theme of the 6th Gen will be an evolution of the 5th Gen which was a modern retro inspired version of the 1st Gen. That said the change from modified Zeta to Alpha alone should make the car look different not to mention if GM does any tightening of the cars dimensions to save weight. I don't think anyone with basic car knowledge will confuse a 5th or 6th Gen Camaro.

I almost hope they don't make it so different and striking that I start looking sideways at my poor ol' 10 SS. I still love that car and have quite a few $$ into the mods on it.

I don't think the Transformers 4 Camaro will be the 6th gen. The 5th gen was in Transformers because the concept was revealed a year before it came out. People already knew what it looked like.

I love the TF4 Camaro and I will gladly put off buying a 2014-15 in order to purchase a similar looking car. Time to start saving my pennies so I can go with the V8.

Heresy...
I saw the 2015 at the autoshow this year, and it was downright offensive to the eye.
And I am not stating this because I'm biased, as I actually like the look of current mustangs.

Let's face it. The descriptions of 'not drastically different' and 'looks like a worked-over current-model Camaro' ARE applicable to the Transformers car.

Is it going to look exactly like that? Of course not. But could it look just enough like it to give a basic idea of the new car to the typical movie viewer? Maybe, just maybe.

I actually don't mind the appearance of the Transformers car, so this wouldn't be deal-killer for me if it happens.
That T4 Camaro is hideous, it's like seeing a really cute girl one minute and then you see her without make up and realize geez she's not as cute as I thought.

So wouldn't buy a 6th Gen if it looked like that. T4 is going to be huge, GM wouldn't put a random Camaro in there for no reason. I bet that's it.

Edmunds: 2016 Camaro styling to be evolutionary, not revolutionary

They had the original concept in the first Transformers. It didn't change much. I'm sure it's going to be a similar thing with the one in T4. I've been told by family that the concept looks amazing in person

Yes, but 67/68 & 69 were all Gen 1, with Gen 2 being a revolutionary change. So, you're basically saying that Gen 6 will be more like a Gen 5.5 in terms of looks? I don't think that will be the case. You can have an evolutionary change but still be a lot more different than 68->69 was.

I think Gen 6 will be immediately recognizable as a change in Camaro generation much like Corvette C5 and C6 were (I don't think any one mixes them up) Evolutionary change but clearly a generation change on an all new platform.

I'm thinking the same thing. The C5 looks much better though, but I guess it could grow on me.
