ZL1 belly pan on a SS

I own a 2012 SS and would like to know what benefit a ZL1 belly pan would give me. I have the HEX vents to allow the air to escape if that helps any.

Are you having high speed lift problems today? If not, it's a waste to chase aero issues that aren't there.

If you spend a lot of your driving time at over 130MPH then you'd benefit from one of these. If you don't spend much time over that, then its dead weight and your oil changes are a super bitch for no reason.

I'm planning on putting one on to help keep the engine bay clean. From what I've seen it fits but needs to be trimmed if you have headers.

You seriously attribute any part of the MPG's to the belly pan?

Lmao!! You clowns

No belly pans are not for adding mpg's to your CAMARO SS WITH A 376 cubic inch motor !
They are for guys autoxing or doing top speed runs!! Period BUT if you wanna "brag" at the track or a cruise to tell others (then they'll make fun of you lol) or just have money burning in your wallet then go for it.

LMAO- CLOWN----really

First of all I had said that is why they put it on my VW- for mpg, read it. The guy wanted to know why it was on the zl1 and what were the benny's/reason.

So if you think of a car that goes thru the air cleaner with less resistance would you not get better performance? Let’s look at the race cars that have them on there, or the high mpg cars(on the road) that are getting 50+ mpg. They all do it for the performance gain and yes it does get them more out of a gal of gas. clown

Lmao!!

That's true, Real "racecars". The only people who might be sorta interested in parts like that are people who actually RACE, Not for show lol.

We have "Camaro's" We are not concerned with no damn MPG's!

Mpg's and warrantys are for Hondas and Camry's.

I was actually really laughing at you and 429's replies, thought it was funny I didn't think you'd take it personal.

I can pm more pics lol
