TPMS sensor service light flashing

Hey folks,

I have a 2023 Camaro ZL1 1LE and just had a new set of wheels and tired installed. After about an hour after picking the car up from the shop, the "Service" tire pressure monitoring system warning came up and no tire pressure is showing on the screen for any of the tires. I've been driving for a few days to see if the warning and light would cancel on its own, but seems like that is not the case. I'm probably going to bring it back in to the shop to see if it needs to be relearned, but curious if anyone has any ideas or thoughts before I do that.

Thanks!

You don't have to reprogram them unless you're putting on a different set of wheels or you've replaced the TPMS sensors.

I'm not sure what happens when they run out of batteries. But considering it's a 2023 it should not be out of batteries. I would take it back and see if they damaged them maybe?

I have no idea what it could be, I regularly change wheels and reprogram it myself but you shouldn't have to in your case.

Did they install new tpms sensors? If not that would be why. Also you can buy a programmer for $10 and program them yourself if you’ll be going back and forth from the stock wheels to your aftermarket wheels.

Ya you most likely just need a $10 programmer for your new set of wheels, and like the other guy said lets assume that they installed sensors, I would start there. This car unlike some others will not automatically pick up sensors.

I must have been tired when I posted my reply, you definitely need to reprogram since you have a new set of wheels/tires. You also need to make sure those new sets of wheels actually have TPMS sensors in them. I would buy the programmer whitemale posted above. It's handy to have. But it won't work if your new wheels don't have the TPMS on them.
