PVC removal from valve cover
I’m trying to get the PVC valve out of the rear of the passenger side valve cover to the PVC mod to it and it is stuck. To the point that it’s now broken off. Any ideas how to get the remains out of the valve cover without pulling the cover?

Is there a little stub still sticking out of the valve cover? If so, I’d try and put a heat gun on it and then try and twist and pop it off. If nothing is poking up anymore, you could try and heat it and then use a metal trim removal tool or a couple of flat blade screwdrivers to try and pop it up. The factory uses a small amount of sealant, I forget what kind, to hold it in.
If you end up having to pull the cover, it’s not too bad. But you have to take the intake manifold off first. A great time to paint it and add an iceolator! |

I got the &#=(*$% out. What a pain. I used a sharp chisel under the last little bit of lip and banged on it while pushing down on the chisel. Worked my way around and around and after about 30 minutes it finally came out.

Nice. Glad it worked. I hate it when a simple job turns into a headache.
