Kooks ball and socket connection/v-bands
Has anyone cut out their ball and socket connections on their kooks headers to cat/catless connections? I am throwing the idea around of taking both my green cats and catless connections and welding in v-band clamps for quicker swap outs for inspections and a better seal.

I like the Kooks setup and as long as the two pipes are tightly held together the V band does a good job of pulling them tight. IMO there are other issues if you are having problems. There is a slight leakage at the VBand bolt, nothing to worry about.
