Chevy Camaro Z/28 is so Analog it’s Almost Perfect: First Drive
Nice article, but someone should tell the lad it's "cam" not "cams."

You do realize there are more than one cam on a cam shaft. You should ask somebody.

Without meaning to derail ... that's actually a nice article.

From Mirriam-Webster.
cam - a rotating or sliding piece (as an eccentric wheel or a cylinder with an irregular shape) in a mechanical linkage used especially in transforming rotary motion into linear motion or vice versa. and camshaft - a shaft to which a cam is fastened or of which a cam forms an integral part. on a side note, the last oem motor i was building had powder-forged cam lobes that were pressed onto a hollow shaft then finish ground as a unit, like an old style camshaft. so - I would guess it's cams on a camshaft. But, with a name like Jonathan Klein - I'm thinking British and they pronounce Aluminum all wrong and even drive on the wrong side of the road so maybe that's just another of their tea drinking quirks. What's all this mean? Who cares, nice read, thanks for the post for the record I would go with "cam" for this article, that and a dollar gets me a coffee.

They obviously handed him a key and not "keys", and I assume he tapped the aluminium brake rather than the carbon ceramic "brakes" before he "hit" the turns. He's obviously a young and enthusiastic journalist and not a technical writer. I won't fault him for his vernacular. Except for the part about "P305/30/ZR19 tires all the way around" when in actuality, they are at all 4 corners. P.S. I didn't think Jonathan Klein was a British enough name for the "Lad" so I, at my own expense, Limey'd it up for him. Quote:
