I tried searching and digging through the forum. I can not find an answer to this.

Can a LT1 or 1SS trim be retrofitted with the heated steering wheel from the 2SS? I thought I saw someone state that all that was needed is the steering wheel and the new push button for the steering wheel. I’m wondering specifically about the wiring and BCM controlling the signals for this.

I'm not sure on compatibility for the LT1, but I'd imagine it would be fine. All you need is a wheel with the right paddles on the back and the heat button, the wiring harness, and a new clock spring. I think you can get both from gen5diy.

Thanks Riley. I didn't think about checking Gen5DIY.
I sent them an email to see if that kit will work or not.
