Playing music through Bluetooth

So I have yet to figure out how to do it. I can make calls through it but I cant figure out how to play music from my iPhone over blue tooth. Is there a trick to doing this?

I just get it connected with bluetooth and play the music like I normally do on the iPhone and it comes out the car speakers.

I don't think there is anything extra you're suppose to do.....I didn't anyway.

You can even use Spotify and Pandora like that too !

Did you have to use the AUX button ?

I was thinking maybe you needed to do that going from the phone function to music ?

I use the music all the time, but haven't ever used the phone part through the car

I actually have a question about bluetooth myself. I can get it to work and have used a Griffin and Belkin and sound comes through very clearly but there is no power to it. So hardly any bass or distortion. Anyway to get the power or is that just something you lose out on while using Bluetooth?

You do lose some of the quality with it going over wireless, but the newer bluetooth versions are getting better and better about this.

One of the things I have found that can help is to make sure your music is as good a quality as you can make it.....I used to stream Spotify with the normal stream level (96 kbps)....I stepped it up to extreme level (320kbps) and it's a LOT better !

That's the case with stored music on the phone too....the better quality, the better and more full it will sound....even over bluetooth

It's pretty simple. Select AUX on your radio and then press the MENU/SELECT button. It should be pretty self explanatory if you ever synced devices with bluetooth. If not just make sure your Bluetooth on your device is on searching mode and it should find your car instantly then from there you got it.

what i had to do was actually connect it through the USB port in the center console. once your ipod come up go to the menue on the sterio and scroll all the way to the bottom and select blutooth options or something along those lines. then it should be pretty easy from there.

After owning my Camaro for a year... This little gem allowed me to connect streaming audio via bluetooth. I thought it was not compatible with my phone as all I could do was send/receive phone calls via bluetooh. I didn't know you had to pair it separately for streaming audio.

I'm glad that everyone figured it out. I had to read the owner's manual for the car when I first got it. It was not as straight forward as I would have expected.
