2.0 oil spill

I have a 2019 2.0 turbo 1LE. Yesterday while driving home I got a warning of low oil, that was followed up with a low oil pressure turn engine off. I immediately turned into a gas station and turned the engine off. I went in a got three quarts of oil, and when I came back to the car I noticed a bunch of oil splattered along the passenger side of the car. I put the oil in and started the engine, all the warning lights were off, the oil pressure was back and there were no scary death noises comingfrom the motor.. I was close to home so went back and parked the car. I'm hoping it's simple like an oil hose or something.

How many quarts does it take? 3 quarts low is a lot; hopefully no damage was done.

If there was oil all over the side of the car, that's a good sign there's a leak somewhere. Let us know what you find.

3 because that's all they had in the gas station. Yes, hopefully no damage. I am taking it in tomorrow to have it checked out

DO NOT drive it, have it flat bedded to the repair facility... If you had oil all over the side of the car you have a MAJOR issue...
