Thank you Tim at EFI LLC and ARS

Big shout out to Brandon and Tiana Web at Accelerated Racing Solutions in Rancho Cucamonga for doing a flex fuel tune for my vehicle. When the 6th gen Camaro first came out, various shops here in SoCal attempted a flex fuel conversion with no success due to the sensor reading the ethanol content inappropriately. With huge thanks to Tim at EFI Tuning LLC who spent hours figuring out a fix, E85 works on our vehicles! The final result: 35rwhp and 23rwtq gained on my vehicle on a Mustang dyno. Keep in mind, I didn't completely drain the tank of 91 pump gas. There was still about 1/8 of a tank left. The last sensor reading I had was 60 percent so there's still some more power to be had here. Get this...I had my car tuned at 8pm, finished at close to midnight. And they still had other customers there. This shop never closes. Who else does this?!!!! I highly recommend these guys for your performance and tuning needs. Visit their FB and IG page and you will find out why they are the best kept secret in the IE and SoCal, well NOT ANYMORE.

Baseline dyno run was done with Rotofab intake with oiled filter and VMax PTB.
There was false knocking due to the secondary cats being deleted. I know it was mentioned that this happens with the primary cats removed but apparently removing the secondary cats will do it also. It happened only on the dyno. Street pulls showed no knock. All pulls were done in 5th gear. There were no problems with the vehicle going into COT mode.

Nice gains! You will gain more once you can get to 80+ percent.

Thank you,
Tim

oh look at that fat torque curve!!! When I see a translation up of the torque curve like the above we all know that we are talking substantial. Unlike say the MSD intake where it is 15 HP but most / all above 5200 rpm. This is meat and very fun on the street.

EFI Tuning says there is false knock with front cat delete as stated; so your baseline is rotofab, second cat delete, the peak of that HP curve looks a little hinky. I have not seen (knock retard) but I have had little time to datalog also. My son's autoX racer ate a valve and he needed to swap the engine out between events. I so looking for Christmas break....

I have my secondary cats deleted and haven't seen any knock issues. I wonder if I am looking at the right thing in HP Tuners.

there are several knock logs. One day soon I'll start posting in the tune section and maybe we can all figure this out, heck it took me two days just to go from A/F to lamda

what is the PID you are looking at in HPTuners? I want to make sure I'm watching the right one.

Stingy Mustang dynos. Sad that your 91 octane baseline was only 385. Those on 93 octane seem to baseline closer to 400.

Also, were they intentionally waiting until after the VVT shift before punching it? Looks like they ***** footed it a long way.

I thought you wanted to do 6th gear (1:1) with the A8 and run it from 2000rpm to 6000rpm? If they ran it in 5th gear, did they correct for the proper gear ratio?

Did they do a remote tune? Which required you to purchase hp tuners? How did they know what to change on your cars settings without having your car,
