Help! Need M6 SS Driveshaft assembly

U-joint between 1st and 2nd shaft went over the weekend, I am in the northeast and Chevy dealer is having trouble finding a driveshaft assembly, Anyone that may be able to send me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I have 887 miles on the car, I have broke in the car pretty much as required by owners manual, have not tried launch control and was not even getting after it when it broke. I took a look at it before I sent it went to the dealer and it looked like one of the epoxy end caps departed.

Great car- love it and hopefully I am not down too long

I blew 1st gear in the El Camino and wasn't doing anything to harm it then, just taking off normally from a stop sign... but as they say... doesn't mean the 27 launches before that didn't break it right?

so do you just need the u-joint or did it destroy the shaft(s) somehow?

The front shaft yoke was oblonged due to the u joint beating around inside it after the cap fell off (so yes destroyed)- according to dealer the driveshaft is only sold as a single assembly
