Magnetic numbers?

Dumb question. Are the doors polymer? Front fenders?
Is there an area of the unibody that is flat enough for mag numbers to stay on?

99.999% sure that the body panels are all steel. The hood is aluminum, the front & rear fascias are plastic. But the rest of the car should be steel.

you still need tape on the leading edge, but only if you go fast!

Just get the numbers made inside a larger rectangle.

This way it's square and flat, rather than in the shape of the number. The rectangle is more secure and easier to reuse, and harder for the number to lift up at speed.

FWIW, my personal preference has been to use THESE GUYS. Two-digit numbers in 8-inch heights just fit in the rear-quarter window if you compress the spacing a bit. I finally settled on using 6-inch two-digit numbers, and install them in the quarter windows. They visually pop there, as I use white numbers and the window reads as black, and this has satisfied every group I've run with...
