Burnin a hole in my pocket! LOL
Well, as some of you know, I raced Dirt Late Model stock cars and decided to get out...sold out! I took the money and put toward my 2014 1LE. Did a bunch of exterior mods, but wanted to start performance and interior mods. Well, last night I sold my remaining parts and supplies from the race team! Did not take long to re-invest! RPI Designs and APEX Speed were the recipients of my asset flipping today! Have some nice stuff coming though! Hoping it is all here and installed before Camaro Superfest here in MI in a couple weeks! Items purchased:
RRM Door kicks Black Bowtie strut caps CAI Cold Air intake- Black finish Cold air scoop Washer tank replacement kit Skip shift eliminator (this has been driving me nuts!) Apex SS Catch can Daytime Running light harness My winter time mods will be high flow cats and flowed TB. Maybe headers, but don't like the tune and messing with the warranty. We shall see! |

Damn! In 2014 that is one ugly car, but I understand the attachment since you've had it practically since it was new. I love it when car guys hold on to their rides for decades... ugly or not.
The 1LE, of course, is beautiful!

The exterior of the 1LE is probably the best looking exterior of any camaro package.

Ninja...I will be at Superfest!! See you there. Going to MIS with the 1LE Friday (I live 12 miles from the track and have run driving schools there making laps at 175MPH in a cup car...LOL, so pace laps in the 1LE will seem slow...but still fun!). I will have both Camaro's at the Superfest on Saturday...my son will drive the 82 Z28. Not doing Lingenfelder, I can go there anytime...it is Saturday night, bon fire time! Wanna come over for a bonfire Saturday night? I have 16 acres in the country...I should just move Camarofest to my yard Saturday night! LOL PARTY!
Anyway, I will be back there Sunday, but just with the 1LE. Weather could play into all of this as I don't drive my Camaro's in the rain! LOL Praying for sun!!! As for the ugly 82 Z...could not agree more when you park it next to the 1LE! And the ride...HARSH! I drove the 82Z last night over to a buddies house cause he is going to do some trans work on it for me. You sit MUCH lower than in the 1LE and it is like riding on steel rods, not springs and shocks! LOL But still cool to have that old girl...running well and drivable. |

Holy crap that 82 screams 80's style. I can hear Billy Squire's - Stroke playing the in background already. Still, i don't think it's ugly per se. It's just not as well refined as your 2014. I'd drive the piss out of it tho, my 86 mustang gt rode like it had concrete wheels. I know your pain. Lol. Sweet cars!!

That's funny shit! Probably played that song a lot back then! The interior is perfect. The exterior is starting to show its age even though it has only seen water from a hose in the last 20+ years and never seen snow, even in storage the paint just fades and the stripes are all cracked and a mess.
