Anyone felt the shifter move going over speedbump?

I went over a larger then normal speedbump yesterday and Bam! Friggin shifter vibrated almost violently in my hand. Car is lowered 1.25 inches but has been for 6 months with only mild scraping here and there. I was in a parking lot going very slow. Anyone had this happen to them? Possible damage? Car drives fine but it scared the $hit out of me.

You'll be fine. It was probably your driveshaft that created the vibration going over the speed bump. I pretty much know every place in Austin, TX that I cannot drive into as my car is lowered 2 inches.

Same here. Only when I go over a bump too fast with the front tires....I can bottom out in the rear but I won't feel it in the stick....It's only happened a handful of times.....no damage to anything that I can see.

Was on a road with construction and a pothole appeared out of no where, hit it hard enough that it took my shifter from 2nd to neutral.

I doubt it the drive shaft hit because it pretty deep in the hump also it partly sheilded.
